(Los Angeles, CA - 2015)
With the expectation to have fun, visit with friends and eat delicious seafood we headed to Los Angeles, California. We were greeted at the airport by Ashlea's sweet grandmother. From there we began exploring Redondo, Hermosa and Venice Beach. We had dinner with my middle school Pen Pal, surfing lessons from Eric's middle school friend followed by more delicious food and sunsets.
It was great to meet and hangout with Eric's buddy Al. Al's great surf instructions combined with the perfect waves for beginners meant that we were both able to catch a few waves! We had a blast. Check out some photos below including some fun shots of Eric and Al riding in a wave together.
A great day of surfing turned into great views of the sunset at Palos Verdes with Nick and Ashlea.
The next day was followed by brunch with Ashlea's grandma, riding up and down the beach on some cruiser bikes. We finished off the trip with some paddle boarding and more good food! Thanks to everyone who helped us log another great trip.
